I'm so happy for you! Your Ralph Lauren writers chair is perfection!

I wonder if there's a Ralph Lauren chair designed for internet surfing, reading and snacking? My search begins.....

p.s. Is Christmas jealous of the RL chair?

That chair really is kind of fucking awesome.

I'm glad for you because of the chair and the ottoman, but I'm also glad for me because you came back after the 'bye!' picture. That is all. And as always, i love Christmas in this photo.

SCORE!

the chair was a cosmic surprise! a late bday present from something above (i know you might not believe in that kinda stuff, but i'm somewhat serious) it'sa perfect for youuu

Congratulations to you! Funny I have the same obsession and have a Google alert set up to email me whenever "ralph lauren writers chair craigslist" comes up on the web. Not only did it turn up the $350 ad from LA, but ALSO two weeks later it turned up your blog! Many congrats...I will continue my own search!

Here is another blog entry from a more profane fan:

Again congrats & wish me luck...nothing compares to the RL Writers Chair!!!

*sigh* I'll miss these little rants.

I think "the power of patience and tenacity" is what makes it a writer's chair.

I'll miss the regular posts.

That might be the best craigslist find ever. So jealous and in awe.

I'm embarrassed by how happy I am for you. I am constantly shocked by the power of beautiful things. Always I thought of myself as relatively free of material lust, but that fantasy evaporated last year when I became obsessed with a bed from brocade home. I would literally check the sales every day to see if the price dropped low enough to rationalize a credit card splurge. When I finally did get it (on sale!), I then became obsessed with finding a perfect tufted headboard. (What is it with tufted furniture?) I can now say that my relationship with my bed has stabilized considerably. I no longer lust for it with last summer's intensity, but rather appreciate its beauty and enduring ability to keep my sleeping body in perfectly horizontal suspension. I wish you a long, healthy relationship with your beautiful chair and ottoman.

(I am new reader/fan and sorry to hear the blog posts will become more sporadic, but I completely understand. I'm currently trapped in an abusive relationship with my email, which is totally stalking me.)
